My son was hesitant to go to PGC basketball camp (due to the overnight aspect of it). My husband and I knew he would love it and told him we wanted him to go and stick it out. First, it was a boost personally. Coaches, like everyone else, get worn down over time. It was great to be around the PGC staff, other coaches, and a really motivated group of players. This course has improved my basketball IQ. Being able to read defenses and knowing what strategies to use to score has been the most helpful. Also knowing what to do when you get the ball. Some grab and immediately look to pass, whereas here you must peek. I always learn so much about basketball but most importantly life. I really liked the emphasis on being a good leader and how to sheep dog teammates. I have already attended this course, but I found myself learning new things in every session.

So many life lessons! the way the classroom taught students how to be better not only in the game but as a person is one of the biggest things that I'll take away. That your actions scream while your words whisper was super impactful as well.
The Classroom Sessions Impacted Me Most
This week was great. I loved how we were put with our team on day two which gave us time to bond and get to know each other. I loved the amount of basketball we played and I believe the classroom session are what we impact me the most.
