I Really Liked the Focus On Decision Making
I really liked the focus on decision making, the focus on peeking at the basket/down the floor is very key. Also, I intend to really reinforace power position with my team this year. That and Mo Stops. I think some of the open court dribbling stuff is what I will use the most. the Mo Stops/Changes, butt cutts and pullbacks are essential tools. I will also use some of the language from the classroom to talk about leadership with my players.
Helped My Son's Athletic Development
This camp was extremely beneficial for my son's athletic development, however it was even more impactful for his mentality. He learned intangible characters like leadership, mental toughness, and confidence. These are characteristics that are beneficial off the court as well.
Fun and Educational!!
My son did not want to come home afterwards. It really gave him a fun breakdown of the game and explanation of his trouble areas, but more importantly taught him lessons of attitude and self accountability on and off the court.
Learned so Much About the Mental Aspect of the Game
The best PGC course i’ve been to, I learned so much about mental aspect of basketball. This just made me realize that you have to practice the mental part of the game just like you do the shooting and ball handing.
